Data Sources

Select Setup|Data Sources to display the Data Sources screen. Data sources can be edited, added and deleted.

- select the edit link, to edit a data source. The query and the parameters can be edited. Selecting the Output Required checkbox, will specify that this data source must provide output. Select teh save button to complete the editing of the data source.

- To add a data source, select the Add button. Give the data source a name by populating the Data Source Name property then selecting an appropriate connection setup. Insert the query and assign parameters with test values to test the data source setup. Select the save button to add the data source.

The query inserted can be tested by selecting the Test button, this will confirm that the query is working as it should. A window will open with the data returned for the parameter test values inserted.

To delete a data source, select the delete () button. A prompt will appear to confirm the action.

- Selecting OK will delete this data source.
